First Aide Support for Niue Auckland Rugby

Tau Nosi Niue (TNN) had the opportunity to attend the recent Niue community rugby event held at Mangere, where we were present in the capacity of nurses and assistances to provide first aid support throughout the day.

The event was well-attended by Niue local teams, supporters, and families. During the games, a few players required minor first aid for injuries such as sprains, bruises, and muscle strains. All situations were handled promptly, and no major incidents occurred. The presence of first aid support was well-received by both players and spectators, offering reassurance that care was readily available if needed.

TNN would like to sincerely thank Niue Auckland Rugby for involving us in the event and recognising the importance of having healthcare professionals available. It was a pleasure to support the players and contribute to the smooth running of a safe and enjoyable day.
